Three Boys...

Boys are God's way of telling you that your house is too neat!
-- Author Unknown

There are days when I am so unsure about my ability to raise three boys!?  It is a very daunting and important task that I have laid out before me.  I wonder if I will be able to raise my boys to be great husbands, wonderful fathers and responsible priesthood holders.
I know that we are never given something that we can't handle, I just hope that I do a good job.  I never imagined myself with three boys.  Life never turns out how we picture it I guess, it turns out how it is supposed too though.
Don't get me wrong I am very excited for my three boys and watching them grow into men.  I just hope I can help them on their way to manhood.  Teach them to respect womanhood and to be gentle, kind men.
I hope that I can keep them on a path of righteousness as the world falls apart around them.  Teach them that it is okay to be different and to stand for what is right.

I hope I will be good mother to my three boys.

this and that...

So I haven't blogged in a bit...okay more like 2 months.  I guess I just haven't been that in the mood to blog :).  I am still not really in the mood, I guess I just have to much to blog about that I don't want to try and catch up.  So this might be a very random post.  ENJOY!!!

Our one and only snowman.  This was the first time the boys ever built a snowman.  (we actually cheated and used big balls of snow that had been created by the snow plow that plowed our circle).

Out helping Daddy shovel the drive way (they were much better at throwing snow on the driveway than helping remove it from the driveway)

My handsome man taking care of us and shoveling the driveway.  You can also see the back end of our new addition.  A 2007 Honda Odessey.  Chad was a good sport and got rid of his truck so that we could get a bigger car for our new addition.  26 weeks down 14 more to go!!!

Speaking of baby boy #3 here is a current belly pic for those who are curious.  I am 26 weeks and very uncomfortable.  This one has been much harder on my body than the other 2.  Especially my hips, they are killing me!!!  (don't the boys look so enthusiastic in the picture hehe)

We went to Seattle for Christmas and one of the days we were there I finally got to go to the Space Needle.  I have been to Seattle many times and never been to the Space Needle.

A big thanks to my Mother-in-law, Karen for watching the boys so Chad and I could have a date by ourselves!

It was the perfect day to go the Space Needle because the weather was so clear.  If you have ever been to Seattle in the winter you know that doesn't happen often.

Us at the top.  It was very windy but luckily we could see a lot.

Opening presents on Christmas morning!

Daniel was so funny with the stuff from his stocking.  Every time he would pull an item out he would line it up on the coffee table.  He cracked us up.

Playing with Iron Man

One of the few moments that these two get along.  They are typical boys and love to fight.

Chad playing with his toy!!  I got him a lego Lamborghini.  I think that he really liked it!

This was taken on Friday night.  Chad came home from work that day and handed me a cute poem saying that we were going out that night and he had lined up a babysitter and everything.  He didn't tell me where we were going just that I needed to dress up and wear comfortable shoes.  Turns out he took me up to a dance in Rexburg!!!  I had such a good time and loved the surprise my sweetie put together for me.  What a wonderful man!

The boys wanted a picture too, since mom and dad had one!  It was really funny, while I was getting dressed up Garrett asked if we were going to get married, hehe it made me chuckle.

Santa Claus

So my boys have been lucky and have been able to see Santa a few times this season.  The first was at Christmas on the River where we stood in line to see the big guy.  Then today Santa made a special visit to Garrett's preschool and Daniel got to go too.  They had a great time!

Here we are at Christmas on the River.  Daniel wasn't to hip on the idea at the time.

Here is Santa at the Preschool!

Garrett was very excited.  All the kid were a little nervous and not wanting to sit on his lap.  We were asking who wanted to go first and Garrett raised his hand and said Me and walked right up and sat on his lap.

Daniel was a little more into it this time.  What a cheeseball!

Crazy Boy!!!

Sometimes being a mom to two little boys can be quite the adventure.  You never know what kind of disaster you will have to deal with next.  From milk swamps on the kitchen table to corn up the nose at dinner, they never cease to amaze me at the trouble they can find.
Well the other day we had quite a doozer.  Chad was just getting ready to go to his class and Garrett was sitting at the kitchen table.  Suddenly there was a big bang and a loud scream.  We go running into the kitchen to find Garrett lying on the floor with his lip bleeding.
We run him to the sink to get him cleaned up and find that he as actually bit through his lip.  Yes, all the way through!!!!  I wasn't sure what to do, do we take him in, let it heal on is own, what?
We called around trying to figure out what to do and finally decided to just wait and see how it healed, but it sure is scary to have to try and decide what to do when your child's health is in question.  He has since healed just fine and you can't even tell that anything even happened.
Here are some pictures of the exciting event.

The inside of his lip

And the outside where you can see that he bit all the way through.  The crazy thing is all he did is fall off of a kitchen chair.

Under Construction....

Yes it is true!!!

(yes our children are crazy!!!)

Our boys have something to share with everyone and if you can't tell by the pictures they are excited.  Daniel may not know yet what is really going on but as the time draws closer I think he will start to figure it out.
If you haven't figured it our yet we are expecting #3!!!! Our first doctors appointment was on October 12th and it was wonderful to see the little one and see the heart beat and know that everything is going well.  The due date is May 20th and we are very excited for our little Spring baby to arrive.

I just had to include some of the sonogram pictures.  These may bore some of you but we were excited to see them and know that the baby is doing good!

And just so you know I tried really hard to get a normal picture of the boys but they would not have it.  Here is a few of the beauties we got...

Right before I took this picture Garrett said "This is hard!"

To infinity and beyond....

I had to post some pictures from my little man Garrett's birthday party!  His birthday was on the 1st of July but since Grandma and Grandpa King would be in town on the 8th we decided to celebrate then.  We had a Buzz Lightyear party because Garrett is a little obsessed.

Here he is with his Buzz Lightyear towel and wings (Emily, my sis, made him the wings)

His Buzz Lightyear spaceship cake

The Cake (My mom and I made it)

His Buzz Lightyear pinata.  I should have gotten a picture of the after math of the poor little pinata, We let Garrett and Daniel have a go at it and then it was Chad's turn.  He hit is so hard that in one whack he split it right in half.  He even broke a few of the pieces of candy inside :)

We also got to go and do a few fun activities with the Kings while they were here.  We went and fed the ducks, got Reed's dairy Ice Cream, and went to the visitors center.
