GREEN!!!!!!

<><><><><>

You Are a Green Crayon

Your world is colored in harmonious, peaceful, natural colors.

While some may associate green with money, you are one of the least materialistic people around.

Comfort is important to you. You like to feel as relaxed as possible - and you try to make others feel at ease.

You're very happy with who you are, and it certainly shows!

Your color wheel opposite is red. Every time you feel grounded, a red person does their best to shake you.

A special day...

Daddy and Daniel
This past Sunday we blessed Daniel and it was such a great day!  I love having the priesthood in my home and love knowing that I am married to a wonderful and worthy man.  Chad is such an awesome Daddy and a wonderful husband.  His parents were able to come for a few days for the blessing and it was so wonderful to have them here as well.  They are such wonderful and supportive people.  I really think that Garrett loved having them around, more people to hang out with.
We also had some friends and family that came for the blessing as well.  Grandma and Grandpa Poulson came up with Carrie and Tilila.  The Funk's also made the drive up.  Ryan and Liz came with their baby boy Carter and Brock and Stacey came as well.  Most of them had to travel and we really appreciate them making the sacrifice to be there for Daniel's special day.

This week's activities!

Well we have survived another week with two children. Daniel was two weeks old yesterday and went to the doctor. The doctor said that he must eat like a horse because he gained over a pound in a week and a half. Daniel is now 8 lbs and 14 oz. He was 7 lbs 6 oz when he was born so that shows you how much he has grown in the last two weeks. He really does eat a lot. It seems like I have just fed him and he is ready to eat again. He is such a joy in our lives, he just fits right into our family.

Finished Product!

This week was also Halloween and the first Halloween that Garrett sort of knew what was going on. We carved our pumpkin on Thursday night and Garrett really enjoyed that. We stripped him down to his diaper and let him sit on the table and help Daddy. I think that he thought we were a little crazy.

Scary Dragon!!!

Then on Friday I dressed the two boys up in their Halloween shirts and they looked to dang cute. Daniel's was an orange onesie with a pumpkin face. Later that night we bundled Daniel up and dressed Garrett in his dragon suit and headed out to our wards Trunk or Treat. Garrett seemed a little confused by all of the weird people in costumes but I think he enjoyed himself and mom even let him have a sucker, which he thourghly enjoyed. All in all it was a great Halloween!!!
P.S. I don't know why the first part is underlined, blog is kind of crazy sometimes)

Weird Thought....

I had a funny thought today.  It is October 26th and that was my due date for little Daniel.  It is so weird to think that I could still be pregnant with him and yet he has been here for nine days.  It is funny how once you add a new baby to the family it feels like they have always been there.
This past week has been interesting with two boys now instead of one.  We have had a few interesting mornings and many messes.  Garrett just goes ninety miles an hour all of the time.  Last Tuesday I was trying to get both of them ready because Daniel had a doctors appointment and Garrett was sitting next to me on the bed holding my mug with water in it and next thing I know my butt and bed are soaking wet.  Garrett had spilled the water everywhere and the only pair of pants that fit me were all wet, so I take them off and I use the blow dryer to dry them (Chad came home for a second at this point and thought I was crazy, imagine coming home and your wife is in the bathroom sitting there blow drying her pants).  After I get my pants dry and go and start changing Daniel's diaper, just as I take his diaper off we get projectile poop that flys and gets on my pants (the only pants that fit, I remind you) so then I have to clean them up again.  Lets just say it was a crazy morning.
I am sure that there will be many more to come but we will manage and will try to enjoy every minute of it!
