Warm and Sunny Cali!!

So we just got back from a trip we took to California and we had such a blast. We left on Wednesday afternoon and drove to St. George and then got up on Thursday and drove the rest of the way, stopping in Vegas for a few hours. It was so great to get away from everything, especially the snow in Idaho. We stayed in Indio which is near Palm Springs. On Friday we went to see the show Wicked, which was so great and funny, Chad even enjoyed it. Our good friends Brandon and Bethany watched Garrett for us. Then on Saturday we went to Knotts Berry Farm for a car show. Oh boy was it hot that day! The show was great though, Chad got to meet a guy who has a GT 40 built by the same guy who is building his SuperLite Roadster. Garrett was such a great traveler even on Sunday when we had to drive the whole way back. We throughly enjoyed ourselves and decided that our next trip will be longer!

SO Very Nice!!!

So we just got back from our trip to California and it was so fun. We had a very nice place to stay so I thought that I would post the pictures of it. The place had two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen, a living room, and even a washer and dryer! It was definetely the way to travel!

Conference in Salt Lake

Here are some pictures from our trip that we took on temple square. There are a couple of the whole group, one of Chad and Me, one with Chad, me and Garrett, and one of Grandma and Grandpa King.





So I know that this post is a little late but oh well!
So this year for conference we got to go down to SLC and see Chad's family. They came down from Washington to go to conference and see Grandma and Grandpa King, who are serving a mission on Temple Square! We were so excited and couldn't wait to go down and see them. The last time we saw the whole family was at Thanksgiving and the last time we saw Chad's parents was in December for Chad's graduation. So it had been awhile. We were in SLC from Friday to Tuesday afternoon so we could spend as much time with family as possible. We were also able to go to the Sunday afternoon session with Chad's three little brother and sisters. Very cool! Chad and all the boys were also able to attend Priesthood session. There is nothing like being able to be there live and see the brethren even if it is far away! I love our prophet!

Bath time at Grandmas!!!

While we were down in Utah this weekend for Conference Garrett had a little accident one morning. So we decided it was time for a bath in Grandma's sink. (a tradition, every baby has to take a bath in grandmas sink) While taking a bath Daddy decided to give Garrett a mowhawk! Very stylish!

New Addition!

As you may have noticed we have added an element to our blog! Yes the is right everyone we are expecting our second little baby! We are very excited and can't wait to add another wonderful spirit to our family. We went to the doctor on Tuesday and got to see the little jellybean! It was wonderful to see the heartbeat and know the everything is going well. The due date for the little guy is October 26th.

Easter Update!!!

It has taken me awhile to get this updated, sorry! We had such a fun Easter! On Saturday we went over to my parent house to decorate Easter Eggs and Garrett just loved it. Grandma got him a chair so he could sit up at the table with the rest of the family and he just thought he was the coolest kid around! Then on Sunday we went to church and after church we went to my parents house again for Easter dinner it was very yummy. We had a wonderful time with friends and family!

Update!

So our little boy is now 8 months old. Time flys!!! Just thought that I would post a few pictures of our sweet boy. (Warning may contain a naked baby bum :) He is getting so big. He is starting to get up on his hands and knees, but only scoots, he kind of looks like a worm when he scoots around. Garrett is such a happy boy. When mom puts him in his high chair so she can do the dishes he just talks and plays. He is such a joy!
